Insulated Dog HouseMy Dad who lives in England was telling me that he had recently gotten his dog an insulated dog house. I guess that where he lives it is cold enough to require one. When I had lived in Boston, I remember that always being a worry of mine. Although we had an insulated dog house sometimes it was just so cold that I brought the dog inside. The cedar dog house that he had was insulated very well but when I would hear on the radio the warnings about pets being outside in the cold and the dangers the extreme cold posed to them I couldn't imagine not bringing him inside. Living in Russia where it was colder still I didn't have this problem as all the dogs live inside your apartment. Since nobody in the city has a house with a yard there are no outdoor dog houses and so there is no reason to have a insulated dog house. Of course big dogs living in your apartment is never the easiest but that is how everyone does it. I only ever had small dogs while living there in Russia but my neighbors had a Great Dane named Lord. He was one massive dog. His owner was massive too and could control Lord most of the time but when his wife took the dog out it was quite the sight to behold. That dog would drag her everywhere he wanted to go. Anyway my Dad is going to send me some pictures of his new insulated dog house. I am quite interested in how they build them over there in England. When I was in London I only saw one dog house and it was very simple. |
