Having an indoor dog kennel is sometimes the best solution to the question of how to keep your dog safe and warm during the harsh winter months.

Just remember that whether you put your dog in an indoor kennel or outdoor one, any dog that has been accustomed to roaming the house or yard freely or interacting with humans or animals that is then abruptly place in "solitary confinement" and deprive of its former liberties will experience an emotional turmoil that could be disastrous if the situation is not handled properly and with the dog's best interest in mind.
