Indoor Dog HouseRecently my wife and I discovered indoor dog houses. This is how it happened. We had decided that it was time to get our kids a puppy. Apart from all the deliberation about breed, sex, size, color etc… we started to talk about our soon to be puppy's living quarters. Of course my 7 year old daughter immediately offered her bed as home. My wife with out hesitation rejected that idea and said it our puppy would be staying outside. As we all talked about it more my 6 year old son suddenly asked why we couldn't just have a dog house for the puppy but instead of putting it outside it would be an indoor dog house. Well to be perfectly honest I had never heard of such a thing but when I started asking around I found out from a friend that Cedar makes a lovely indoor dog house. Well I checked out the Cedar indoor dog house and it was a wonder to behold. Here was the perfect solution, my kids and I could have the puppy in the house with us and my wife could have the assurance of knowing that our kids beds (and ours for that matter) would be free of dog at night. The area where we live is very humid and so for the puppy to sleep outside would also not be so desirable. Once our precious little pup grows up we may have to move him outside since he isn't so small but for now everyone is very happy with our Cedar indoor dog house. |
