How to hold a puppy dog
Sometimes a puppy will feel insecure and scared when someone tries to hold him. For this reason it's important to get the puppy used to be carried. Before holding him make sure to quiet him down especially in the case of a really young and small dog. Hold him firmly but gently (to not hurt him) in a way that he will not be able to jump out of your arms. One way to hold him is by putting one of your hands underneath his thorax and his hind legs. Place your other hand around the dog's hip and front legs to obtain a firm grip. Hold him in an upward position.
