How should I feed my female dog after delivery?
Feeding of your female dog will increase while the litter grows. She should have 50% more for the first week, 100% more during the second week, and then, at least three times her normal ration from the moment the puppies start to grow quickly.Make sure she haves several meals along the day. It's also important for her to receive an adequate amount of liquid to keep her milk production. As always, she should have enough water available, though you can also give her some special milk that replace meals, and used to nurture orphan puppies. These usually do not cause diarrhea.
