How can I administrate eye medication?
Normally they come in drops or cream.Verify the dog's head is properly held, and then apply carefully the fluid as closest to the eye as possible, without touching the surface. If necessary remove the eyelid smoothly, keeping in mind that the dog will probably blink when the medication contacts his eye. Maybe a cream is easier to apply, there's no risk of being eliminated with a blink, but hold the dog for some time after application, preventing rubbing and elimination of the medicine.
