Dog Living Environment Conditions -How long do dogs live.
It is well known nowadays that a dog's life is shorten by permanent living outdoors, not only due to the continuous exposure to climatic changes, but mostly due to the lack of proper care and the emotional connection they obtain when there's an owner involved in it's raising. Certainly, some breeds are more independent than others, and they get better adjusted to conditions like cold, rain, extreme heat, wind. These dog breeds include big mastiffs, and other animals especially gifted for guard, with abundant hair and a rich layer of fur to keep them safe and warm. However, most, if not all animals with short hair lack these characteristics and are grateful when kept indoors during cold seasons, things that should be kept in mind by the owner when choosing between breeds for a "better" pet. If you happen to have a backyard in which the dog can feel free to live, and play around, make sure that there are no toxic plants, trees or flowers of any kind. Also, be very careful when choosing products to clean the garden, make sure they're as well toxic free. Finally, when the dog reaches a certain age, even if it has been living in the outdoors for most of the time, it's a good idea to give the animal a proper home to make its last years all the more comfortable and painless.
