Greek Dog Name

I had named my "Opolis" as a take off on all the words ending in "-polis." The suffix comes from Greek and is used with words like Metropolis etc… I like all things Greek and wanted to give my dog a Greek dog name but since I wasn't sure what kinds of names the Greeks give to their dogs I decided to make one up. Papandou was another Greek name that I had thought about giving to my dog but the problem was that the name is just too long. One syllable names are always best for dogs.
