Fish stew recipe for dogs
Ingredients
1 ½ tablespoons oil
1 baby cabbage, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 potatoes, cut into eighths
2 tomatoes, sliced
¾ cup fish stock
5 mussels, steamed, shelled (reserve juices)
450 grams turbot or flounder filets
5 shrimp, shelled and cleaned
Juice of ½ lemon
Salt
Ground black pepper
1 tablespoon parsley
Heat up the oil in a big pot over medium heat. Add in the baby cabbage and garlic and cook until the baby cabbage is translucent. Next, add in the potatoes and cook these for about 15 minutes longer; add water when necessary to keep the potatoes from sticking to the pot. Next, add in the tomatoes, the fish stock, mussel juices, turbot and shrimp. Cook this for about 5 minutes or until turbot and shrimp are cooked through. Stir in the mussels 2 minutes before finishing the cooking. Add in the lemon juice and salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot and sprinkle with parsley.
