Mediterranean & Far East dog sauce recipe
To fly or not to fly: The IATA suggests that these dogs not be allowed to fly.
- females in heat
- puppies under eight weeks old
- nursing bitches
- unweaned puppies
- dogs with respiratory problems
- dogs with short noses
British Airways will not let short-nosed breeds on their flights. These include bulldogs, Pugs, Pekingese and Boxers.
Ingredients
1 cloves garlic, crushed
2 cupsChicken Stock(see recipe)
4 tablespoons tamari sauce
4 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoons dry sherry
2 teaspoons brown bean sauce (available in most Asian food stores)
2 teaspoons sugar
½ teaspoon dry mustard
In a blender place all the ingredients and combine until well mixed. In a small pot bring mixture to a light boil and cook stirring steadily. Once sauce is thickened and has lost some of its liquid serve over your dog's fish, meat or poultry.
Makes about 2 cups sauce.
