My neighbors have two Great Danes and
so you can imagine what an extra large
dog house they have. These two dogs are beautiful if not somewhat exaggerated in their size. And boy do they have a bark to go along with their mammoth proportions. I always thought that my two Doberman Pinschers
dog house was big but these two Danes' house gives new meaning to the expression extra large
dog house. The
dog house they live in is made of cedar wood I think, but to tell you the truth I am not very good with differentiating between woods. I have been inside their
dog house a couple of times and to tell the truth it would make a dream home for a little boys gang. Actually it would probably be too big to put in a tree, unless you had a great big old tree.
Each of the Danes has their own large room in the
dog house where they eat and sleep etc… but then they also have a joint play room which is enormous. I must admit that I felt envious that their dogs had such a big beautiful house. Probably my feelings stem from the fact that their extra large
dog house makes my large
dog house look small. But my dogs don't seem to mind that and enjoy their
dog house plenty, so I will just have to try not to let it bother me too much. Or else I am going to find myself going out and buying an even bigger
dog house so I can not just keep up with the "Joneses" but out do them.
