Doggie Cake Recipe
Ingredients
2 cups of whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
½ cup of honey
½ cup of peanut butter, unsweetened
1 egg
1 cup of skim milk
½ cup of chopped peanuts, unsalted
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F. Oil two 9 inch baking pans with vegetable oil, then dust them with flour.
- In a bowl stir the flour and baking powder together and set on the side. In another larger bowl mix the honey and peanut butter together by using and electric mixer. Then beat the milk and egg in. Put the dry flour mixture into the wet mixture and mix well until it acquires a smooth consistency.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pans. Before putting it in the oven sprinkle some peanuts on the top of the batter. Then put it in the oven and allow bake for around 25 to 30 minutes or until when inserting wooden pick it the center, it comes out clean.
- Allow it to cool to normal temperature before serving it out.
Store the leftovers in an airtight container for no more than 2 days, or wrap well in freezer wrap and store in the freezer.
