Dog sweet potato pie recipe

Chocolate temptations: Dogs love eating chocolate but it is something that is harmful to your dog. It can actually cause diarrhea and your dog can be poisoned by it. Be careful.

Ingredients
3 cooked sweet potatoes
2 eggs, separated
½ cup maple syrup
Pinch of salt
1 teaspoon ground allspice
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
1 22 cm pie crust

Preheat the oven to 175 C.
Peel the cooked sweet potatoes and mash them in a mixing bowl. Add in the egg yolk by beating along with the maple syrup, salt, allspice, ginger and cloves. In a separate mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until they are stiff. Stir half of the whites into the sweet potato mixture and then fold the rest in.

Put the filling into the pie and bake for about 30 to 40 minutes. Serve cooled.

Makes 1 22 cm pie.
