Dog Stroganoff Recipe
Ingredients
1 tablespoon of canola oil
1 pound of chicken breast cut into strips, without bones
1 baked potato, chopped
2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
¾ cup of homemade chicken broth
1 teaspoon of parsley, dried
½ cup of non-fat sour cream
Preparation
- Put the oil in a large heavy bottomed skillet over medium heat. Once the oil has heated add the chicken into the skillet and cook it through for about 5 minutes. Then add in the potatoes and stir. Continue to sauté until it has heated completely.
- Sprinkle the chicken mixture along with the flour. Then add in the homemade chicken broth and the parsley and continue cooking it until it begins to thicken.
- Once it is ready, allow it to cool completely to normal temperature and serve.
If there are leftovers, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Serves 4 cups of dog stroganoff.
