Dog Spice Bread Recipes
Ingredients
1 cup of canola oil
1 cup of honey
2 eggs
1 cup of molasses
5 cups of all purpose flour
4 teaspoons of ground ginger
4 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons of baking powder
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Oil 12 disposable aluminum loaf pans with vegetable oil.
- Mix the oil and the honey with a whisk in a large bowl together. Beat the egg and the molasses until you obtain a smooth mixture. Then use a separate bowl to combine the flour, ginger, cinnamon and baking powder and then mix it in with the molasses mixture. Next, pour ½ cup of hot water over the mixture and stir it slowly.
- Fill the loaf pans to 2/3 full and bake them for 35 to 40 minutes or until when inserting a wooden pick in the center of a loaf, it comes out clean.
Keep in an airtight container for maximum up to three days, otherwise wrap well in freezer wrap and store in the freezer for up to 2 months.
