Dog run construction
The construction of a dog run is a project that must be planned carefully and thoroughly before it is started. Since there are so many types of dogs and it is impossible to know exactly how a dog will react when it is put in a dog run the dog run construction must take into account many possible variables in order for the end product to be good quality and long lasting.

Another problem is dogs that love jumping and these particular dogs present two distinct problems for dog run constructions. The first is if the perimeter fencing is too low the dog could simply jump over the fence and escape while the other problem arises when the dog jumps against the sides of the dog run fence and thereby weakens the overall structure finally causing it to come apart or fall down. If part of the dog run comes apart or falls down this can not only allow the dog to escape but it could also be the cause of injury to your dog, you or even others.
With dogs that attempt to jump over the fence of the dog run the solution is usually just to make the sides high enough that this no longer becomes a problem. And with dogs that could weaken the dog run by jumping against it's sides the answer is to construct the run out of material that is sturdy enough to resist even the most abusive dog behavior.
