Dog pudding recipe

Dog pudding recipe

Did you know? Greyhounds have been recorded running at speeds in excess of 65 kph. If your dog is highly active, including a dessert within his meal plan will help to give him the extra calories he needs after strenuous exercise.

Ingredients
4 cups milk
1 cup cornmeal
4 tablespoons molasses
4 tablespoons honey
4 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon grated nutmeg

Preheat the oven to 175 C. and butter a baking dish.
Boil the milk in a pot over medium heat and add in the cornmeal slowly mixing constantly. Cook this on low heat until it becomes thickened. Next, stir in the molasses, and the honey, and then beat in the eggs, salt, and the nutmeg. Put the pudding into a baking dish and bake it for about 1 hour. Serve cooled.

Makes about 4 cups pudding.
