Dog Poisoning

You may find some toxic substances at home and that makes it dangerous for the dog since he/she may consider it as food. The most dangerous and with the worse consequences is the antifreeze. Their main component is the glycerin and possesses a sweet flavor. Always keep containers closed and do not empty the radiator of the car in a flat tray but instead in a deep one. Dogs have died for licking old paint that contains lead. We know that pesticides are toxic. The most common one is the war farina, which causes internal hemorrhage. Do not place baits for rodents in places that are accessible to the dog. Always remember to be careful when placing pesticides around the house if you have a pet. Remember some of those products may be tasty but lethal for your dog.
