Dog Playing too Rough with Dogs
Dogs love playing rough and it can be lots of fun for you as well, that is, until your dog turns into a huge fur ball and jumps on you… There is nothing wrong with playing rough with your dog but you must keep it clear that you are the one in control of the game. You must decide when this game begins and ends. If your dog grabs a toy or something from you with his mouth and does not want to let go of it, it's a good idea to use your authority in this moment and tell him to "Drop it", pull at it for just a little and if he does not let go then ignore him immediately. Eventually he will let go of the toy and you can then take the toy away from him. Don't give it back to him after this. This way you let him know that you are in charge of what goes on. This also applies to when you are playing rough with your dog. If you notice that at the time of rough play your dog becomes too aggressive or starts to get out of control, you need to serenely stop this aggressive game and let him know that it is enough. You call it quits. If you keep these games short it is easier to control. Your dog needs to learn the limits and that there is a time and place for everything. It's a good idea to let your family know about this rule too.
