Dog Paella Recipe
Ingredients
½ kilogram of chicken breast chopped into 3-centimeter cubes
4 tablespoons of canola oil
2 cups of rice
½ kilogram of sweet potatoes
1 and ½ cups of fresh peas
1 and ½ cups of fresh tomatoes
1 teaspoon of oregano, dried
½ teaspoon of finely chopped garlic
¼ cup of fresh parsley, chopped
4 cups of homemade chicken broth
Preparation
- Put the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot add in the chicken and cook it until it has browned slightly. Then add in the rice, sweet potatoes, peas, tomatoes, garlic, oregano, and parsley.
- Allow it to cook for 1 minute while continually stirring it. Then add in the homemade chicken broth and bring it to a boil. Lower the heat once it has broken into a boil and simmer covered for 20 minutes until the rice becomes tender.
- Once it is ready allow it to cool to normal temperature before serving out.
If there are any leftovers, store them in an airtight container and place in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
