Dog In Between Meals Snack Recipes
Ingredients
6 egg whites
1 cup of skim milk
2 tablespoons of canola oil
1 cup of all purpose flour
3 tablespoons of honey
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Oil a 12 cup muffin pan with vegetable oil.
- Use a large bowl and beat the egg whites with an electric mixer until it stiffens. Then use a smaller bowl to whisk the milk and oil together. Slowly add in the milk and oil mixture to the egg whites. Then fold the flour in until the batter has become smooth.
- Fill the muffin cups up to 2/3. Then bake for around 30 minutes or until they are golden brown.
- Allow the muffins to cool to normal temperature before serving. Once it has cooled spread the honey over the muffins and serve.
If there are leftovers, store them in an airtight container up to 3 days at most. Otherwise wrap them in freezer wrap and keep them in the freezer for up to 2 months.
Makes 12 in between meal snacks.
