Dog food Pumpkin and syrup recipe
Ingredients
1 medium sized pumpkin
¼ cup honey
¼ cup raisins
Preheat the oven to 175 C. and put about 2 ½ cm of water into a large baking pan.
Cut the pumpkin open, remove the stem and scrape out the seeds and membranes. Leave the skin of the pumpkin on. Cut the pumpkin into 3 cm pieces and put it on the prepared baking pan. Bake for about 1 hour until pumpkin is tender.
In a small pot, heat the honey in enough water to make a light syrup. Add in the raisins and simmer for about 10 minutes. Put the pumpkin in a bowl and pour the sauce over it.
Makes about 1 kilo.
