Dog Egg Dumplings Recipe
Ingredients
2 quarts of chicken broth
2 cups of raw chicken livers
4 eggs, separated
2 teaspoons of fresh parsley, chopped
4 tablespoons of melted butter
1 cup of whole-wheat flour
1 cup of graham flour
Preparation
- Heat the chicken broth in a big saucepan to a warm temperature.
- Place the chicken livers inside a blender & process it until it is smooth. Then beat in the egg yolks, parsley, and butter.
- Use a large bowl and a wire whisk to mix the whole-wheat flour and graham flour. Then form a hole in the middle of the flour mixture and pour the liver mixture into it and blend it together with a large spoon or your hand until it forms into a soft sticky dough and pulls away from the sides of the bowl it is in.
- Increase the heat of the chicken broth and as soon as it begins to boil, drop a teaspoon full of the mixture into the hot broth. Cook the dumpling for around 5 minutes and then take it out of the broth. Allow it to cool completely over a wire rack until it is ready to feed to the dog.
