Dog Crying and Whining

Cryingand whining is another common problem that occurs with puppies. This can be extremely bothersome not only to you but to your neighbors as well. The best thing to do to help your pup stop whining is to completely ignore him. This may be a very difficult thing to do, since a whining pup is like a baby who is crying and it is difficult to ignore. Just remember that pups will do anything they can to get their way. And remember that if you have given and tended to all his needs, like feeding, and giving him exercise, the thing he probably wants is more attention. Remember that you know better what it is that your pup needs and if you give in to his whining you might find yourself getting up at the wee hours tending to his whines, which of course, is not the idea. Make sure then, that when he does stop whining to praise him and give him a treat to let him know that this is good behavior and what you want from him.
