Giving Bones To Your Dog
Although feeding a dog bones is something that a lot of people may think is normal and ok, it actually is indeed very dangerous. Bones can cause a dog to choke and can cause big time obstructions in their digestive systems and be very painful and fatal in some cases. Bones can cause perforations in the bowels and digestive tracts of dogs. The most dangerous are smaller bones and soft bones such as chicken bones and fish bones. If you want to give your dog a bone, ask your veterinarian about the "bone" treats you can buy commercially that are good for your dog's teeth and very tasty.
A Dog's Personality
Remember that dogs become used to their environment and feel comfortable within it as long as their needs are getting met that is. Therefore changing and shifting their environment suddenly might cause them to have a different personality and react strangely. If you are planning on moving or changing your dog's normal set up and environment make sure to go about this slowly and to introduce the dog adequately to his new surroundings. And most importantly give him lots of love and attention so that he feels safe, protected and does not lose his confidence and security.
