Dog Banana Snaps Recipe
Ingredients
1 and ½ cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
¾ cup of canola oil
3 ripe bananas, mashed
½ cup of honey
1 egg
1 and ½ cups of oats
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- In a large bowl mix the flour, baking soda, and cinnamon in a large bowl. Then add the mashed bananas, honey and egg and stir it all until it becomes smooth. Fold the oats in.
- Use a tablespoon to scoop the dough and drop them over an ungreased baking sheet giving them 1 and ½ inches space. Put them in the oven and bake 12 to 15 minutes or until they become golden brown.
- Once done allow them to cool to normal temperature before serving.
Store leftovers in an airtight container and store for up to 7 days, or wrap them in freezer wrap and store in the freezer for no more than 2 months.
Serves around 30 to 36 cookies.
