Dog Apple Cake Recipes
Ingredients
2 cups of all purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder
2 eggs, beaten
½ cup of honey
½ cup of canola oil
1 tablespoon of vanilla essence
1 apple, cored and chopped
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Oil a 9 X 13 inch baking pan with vegetable oil.
- Mix the flour and baking powder in a large bowl and put on the side. Whisk the eggs, honey, oil and vanilla together in a separate bowl until it acquires a smooth consistency. Then add the egg mixture to the flour mixture and stir until the mixture is moistened. Then fold in the chopped apple.
- Put the batter into the greased pan and smooth the top out with a spatula.
- Bake the pie for 40 minutes or until when poking the center of the apple cake with a wooden pick, it comes out clean.
- Allow it to cool completely before serving out to your pooch.
If there are leftovers store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Otherwise store in the freezer wrapped in freezer wrap for no more than 2 months.
Serves 12 apple cake servings.
