Devil Dog Recipe

Although this devil dog recipe has nothing to do with the traditional devil food cake, it is a special devil dog recipe treat that can be given to a dog on a special occasion. All of the ingredients are safe for a dog to eat and it has proven to be absolutely mouth watering for dogs.

Ingredients
2 and ½ cups of all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons of carob powder
½ cup of honey
½ cup of canola oil
2 eggs
¾ cup of applesauce, unsweetened

Preparation for devil dog recipe
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Oil two 12 cup muffin pans with vegetable oil. In a large bowl blend the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and carob powder together and set it on the side. Whisk the honey and oil together in a separate bowl. Then add the eggs in one by one, then the applesauce mixing it thoroughly after each addition. Add the wet honey combination to the flour mixture and stir it all until it becomes wet.

Fill the muffin cups to 2/3. Then put in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until when inserting a wooden pick in the middle of a muffin it comes out clean. After it is done, let it cool to normal temperature before serving it out. Store the devil dog recipe leftovers in an airtight container for up to 4 days at most or wrap in freezer wrap and freezer for up to 2 months.
