Company dogs, Companionship Dogs

Company dogs,
Companionship Dogs

This is the main function of must city dogs. The term "company dog" shouldn't be understood wrong. They must be confused with a "seeing eye dog". A company dog can be any kind of dog, their size and breed is of no importance. It is believed that company dogs should be a specific breed (for example, Yorkshire, Caniche or Cocker) or of a small or medium size. However large dogs (Golden Retriever, Boxer, German Shepherd, Rottweiler, etc) can also be excellent company dogs. The difference is that larger dogs normally need more exercise, however at the same time they can also be a guardian, defense dog or rescue dog.  These are great if you are looking for dog companionship.
