Clipping your dog nails - How to Clip Dog Nails
The best moment to clip a dog's nails is right after you have bathed him. This is because after a bath, a dog's nails are softer than normal. Be very careful to not cut the pink area that is in the inside area of the dog's nail.
- Hold out one of your dogs paws and check in between his toes to see if there is any dirt, or mud stuck in between them, if there is clean this with a piece of cotton.
- Very carefully cut your dog's nails by using a special dog nail clipper. You can also use a dog nail filer to file down any sharp edges.
