The condition of Canine Hip Dysplasia affects the dog's hips and can cause your dog to become cripple in his back legs. Caused by a genetic "weakness" in the hip joint. This is condition is much worse in a dog that is overweight. Which is one of the reasons that it is so important for dogs to stay in shape and eat healthy. Canine Hip dysplasia in dogs can affect almost all the large breeds, Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Golden Retriever, Labrador Retrievers, Boxer, and Pit Bull call all suffer from canine hip dysplasia. This ailment is not always present in these breeds but these are some of the breeds that suffer the most from it.
