Cabbage rolls recipe for dogs

Stressed out? Did you know that our pets feel with us and they are subject to the influences of our emotional states. Have you ever noticed how a dog often times looks like his owner? A dog's personality often times reflects it's master's personality. Take the example of an owner who is always nervous and jumpy or stressed out, and you will be able to see how his dog acts with the same behavior.

Ingredients
5 big cabbage leaves
½ cup cooked chicken, shredded
½ cup cooked rice
½ teaspoon chopped parsley
Pinch of dried oregano
Salt
Ground black pepper
¼ cup low fat yogurt, plain
½ cup chicken stock
¼ cup Cheddar cheese

Preheat the oven to 175 C. and oil a baking dish.
Trim and take off the thick white vein that is at the base of a cabbage leaves. Put a large pot of water on to boil and add in the cabbage leaves, and cook until they are tender enough to roll. Put the leaves on paper towels and let them cool.

Mix the chicken, rice, parsley, oregano, salt and pepper to taste in a mixing bowl. Add in the yogurt to join the mixture and to get a creamy consistency.

Spread out the cabbage leaves and put 2 tablespoon of the chicken mixture on the center of each leaf. Roll up these leaves, tucking in the sides, and place the cabbage rolls on the baking dish. Pour some chicken stock over it until it covers about 2.5 cm on the sides of the dish. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover it and bake for 30 minutes. Makes 5 cabbage rolls.
