Barking Dogs Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
3 lbs of ground beef
½ lb of ground pork
6 cups of quick rolled oats
1 cup of wheat germ
½ cup of desiccated bone meal
8 teaspoons of molasses
8 egg yolks
Preparation
- Use a medium sized bowl and a wire whisk to mix the beef and pork together.
- In a separate bigger bowl mix the rolled oats, wheat germ and bone meal together with a wire whisk.
- In a small size bowl beat the molasses and egg yolk together with a whisk.
- Then combine the three mixtures together in a large bowl. Work it with your hands until it is well blended. Flour your hands and then break off pieces and roll the dough into marble size balls.
- Put the dough balls on a microwave proof plate and place them in the microwave on high for around 3 minutes (this time might vary a minute or so depending on your microwave). Once done, take them out of the microwave and cool them to normal temperature. Then place them back inside the microwave for another 3 minutes.
- Take them out of the microwave again and allow them to cool completely. Store them in a Tupperware container and refrigerate them. They should last up to a week if stored in the refrigerator.
