Important dog rescue training tips

One of the most important parts of this type of training is that the dog learns to stick through these harsh conditions and does not abandon the disaster zone and continually go back to its trainer. If the dog does not gain confidence it will not allow the dog to become successful in its search. The dog will need to learn to bark toward where it finds the victim underneath debris by association. Some dogs become pretty freaked out when they go through this type of training when they see a person hiding underneath the surface, and this is why it is important to begin this training by teaching the dog to signal when it finds persons even when they are "hiding" or are on or underneath the ground. To do this the helper can use any type of space that is easy to open from the inside and the same type of basic procedures will need to be used as are when the person is inside box. Make sure when encouraging the dog to praise it continually. This should be done by both the trainer and helper. Dogs are very sensitive to the touch and this factor makes its skin an important sensorial receptor that makes the dog very receptive to receiving a lot of rubs and pats.  Some dogs really feel the need to go up to the people they have just found and rescued and love to lick them and highly enjoy receiving praise and pats from these people. This is the beauty of these types of dogs. They are lovable in every sense.
