Wilmington North Carolina Dog Groomer

We have two big dogs and we live in Wilmington North Carolina. Our Dog Groomer told us that we needed to bring our dogs in to get groomed a bit more frequently than we had been due to their long coats and to get rid of the mats they had in their hair. We were not aware that matting causes dogs so much pain and discomfort so when we heard about this it made us feel awful! However, I think that when a pet parent finds out about these mistakes it helps to keep us on our toes. It's just the same when a parent of a child realizes he or she has been making a mistake because all it does is make the parents realize they probably need to focus more on their child. Well, it is the same in the case of pet parents, and we were actually able to learn from our mistake and have become a lot more involved in the care of our two dogs. We asked our Wilmington North Carolina Dog Groomer to bring us up to date on what we as pet parents needed to know in as far as grooming our dog was concerned to help make their lives more comfortable and healthy. He said that besides feeding our dogs an adequate diet, which is something our veterinarian would talk to us about, we needed to make sure to do in between grooming sessions on our dogs which consisted of brushing and combing their coats every day and showed us what type of comb and brush would be appropriate for our dogs. As far as bathing them we figured this was probably better left up to our Wilmington North Carolina Dog Groomer who is the expert.
