Instructions:
Grooming a Teckel
For the long and wiry hair you will need to start by shaving the abdomen, contour of the sex, the crotch and around the anus with a number 10 size blade. Shave the lower parts of the paws. Then, cut the dog's nails and pull out the hair from the inside of the ears. Untangle the locks of long hair, the beard, the whiskers and the eyebrows.

Teckels with wiry hair need to get their hair cut from the back of the neck until the base of their tails. Their hair should be cut to a medium size and the roughness of the hair should be taken off. Cut the top part of the paws, the outer parts of the thighs and the buttocks. The tail must get trimmed and evened out with the serrated scissors. Cut the hair on the exterior part of the ear should be left at a medium sized length with the curved scissors.
For Teckels with wiry hair you will need to brush the hair on the head forward and level them out with the eyebrows using the straight scissors, cutting them as much as you are able to.
In the case of long hair, first brush and even out the locks of hair around the stomach, legs, chest, tail, buttocks, and ears.
Cut the contour of the paws perfectly round with the curved scissors.
