The Spokane Dog Groomer we chose for our dog was one of the only dog groomers we met that actually offered us a short instruction on how to properly brush and comb our dog and who also sold us the necessary products to do the job. He encouraged us to get involved in this task and told us that we were the key to keeping our pet healthy and happy. When he said those words to us it really made us realize the responsibility it was going to be to have a dog. He told us that there were many different grooming schools and home study programs that offer short courses for pet owners and that we should consider getting into one. Our Spokane Dog Groomer told us that the well being of a dog consisted in a united effort starting out from the dog breeder, veterinarian and dog groomer, but that the biggest responsibility falls on the owners. He urged us to never stop taking our dog to our veterinarian to get his regular check ups and let us in on the importance of regular dog grooming. He also mentioned some very interesting points on the different types of coats different dogs have and the different type of care each one needs. He said that many dog groomers are learning more about skin health as it was something that was normally left up to veterinarians in the past but identifying a skin problem when it first starts is something that groomers should learn about to prevent it from spreading and getting worse.
