Seattle Dog Grooming
I wasn't aware that in Seattle, Dog Grooming was such a big thing for many people. I obviously found out about this when I got my own dog and soon found out about all the different types of dog grooming tools there are available and how important it is to focus on grooming a dog to keep him at his best health. My Seattle Dog Grooming salon gave me some very good suggestions on what to do in between routine grooming sessions and provided me with a lot of information on the different types of brushes and combs that should be used on different types of breeds, all of which go according to the coat of a dog. I was told that dog brushes come in three different categories, which are wire pin, bristle and slicker brushes. Wire pin brushes come with or without rubber tips on the bristles and they are used for dogs that have wooly coats. Bristle brushes can be used on many different types of coats and can be used versatile ways. Slicker brushes are usually used for dogs that have dense under coats as they have fine wire bristles. My Seattle Dog Grooming salon also told me that it is important to use combs on a dog's coat and that they come in many different sizes and are used for many different things. There are fine toothed, medium toothed, wide toothed etc, fine toothed are used for soft silky coats, medium toothed are used for all different types of coats and wide toothed combs are the best for dogs with heavy coats and they are also effective to get rid of mats. There are also rubber currycombs that get rid of dead hair and are used on dogs with short coats.
