Las Vegas Dog Grooming

I

live in Las Vegas and Dog Grooming is something that I have gotten into recently for people visiting as well as for Las Vegas residents. One thing a pet owner was asking me about the other day was why some dogs smell so much. There are actually different things that could cause this but the first step is finding out what is causing it. Believe it or not, just grooming a dog will not resolve all the odor problems a dog might have because in some cases this problem is directly related to a health problem. When a professional dog groomer detects a strong odor from a dog he or she will try to determine the source or suggest the owner take the dog to the veterinarian to get a check up. Now as all dog owners know, dogs often times roll around in the most disagreeable places so in many cases this can be the cause of nasty odors, however in these cases usually a good bath will help to get rid of them. There are also perfumed dog shampoos that the dog's body might not react well to which can cause odors and in which case it is suggested to change the dog shampoo to an odorless one. If your dog has come into contact with a skunk you will be able to easily detect it, as will the rest of the world. But not to panic as there is a way to get rid of this nasty smell. If you can't take your pet to a groomer at that moment, a home remedy is to give the dog a bath in tomato juice. If you notice your dog has a foul odor make sure you talk to your veterinarian or Las Vegas Dog Grooming center.
