Houston Dog Grooming

The first time we took our puppy into our Houston Dog Grooming salon he kind of panicked. However our groomer told us it was not unusual for puppies to react this way and he gently took our puppy in his arms and let the puppy watch the grooming are and hear the sounds that surrounded the place. During the whole thing he talked to our puppy with a very comforting voice and at the same time massaged him. He told us that doing this relieves and comforts puppies. Before clipping our puppies coat he gently massaged the clippers on our puppy's body and then turned them on without clipping yet and told us this was done to get the puppy used to the sound of the clippers. Our puppy of course wiggled through the whole process so during the whole thing our professional groomer had to hold him. We obviously imagine that his poor hands were tired after doing this. So he then placed our puppy inside a sort of portable cage on the floor and allowed our puppy to step out onto he lodging space. We were told that only non toxic products were used on the puppies such as the shampoo, but before using them they performed a patch test on the puppy just in case. During the whole process the groomer made sure to cuddle and touch our puppy which made him feel very secure and it was assuring for us as well to see that our puppy was in a safe place and was being attended at all times. After our puppy finished getting bathed he was placed in a dry moderate place to avoid him catching a chill. Our Houston Dog Grooming salon does excellent work.
