| Bergen Dog Grooming We took our dog Benny to our Bergen Dog Grooming salon to get bathed as he was letting off a really nasty odor. We weren't sure why this was happening but decided it would be best to get him bathed as he was also in due time for a bath. When we arrived to our Bergen Dog Grooming salon, our groomer came out to receive Benny and noticed the odor Benny was letting off. He asked if we had checked Benny's body to which we responded, no. He also asked us if we had taken Benny to our veterinarian or talked to the veterinarian about it, again we responded, no. So he then took Benny to the grooming area and proceeded to check him by smelling where the odor was coming from. Soon enough, he was able to see that the odor that Benny was letting off was coming by his ears. He told us that this was very common in dogs that have long ears since air doesn't circulate well. He told us that he was not going to be able to diagnose Benny's ear condition as this was not the job of a groomer and told us that we were going to have to take Benny to our veterinarian to get the proper diagnosis and treatment. He told us that our dog's ears were swollen and red and that we needed to take our dog to the vet right away if we could. Obviously it was a little heartbreaking for us to find out that it was a bigger problem than we had suspected but were thankful that our Bergen Dog Grooming salon let us know right away so we could do the right thing for our dog. |
