Any idea what size dog this might be? How big she'll get? What breed(s)? Thanks!

I have two basset hound pups that are around six months old, I noticed this morning it looks like both of them have what appears to be a new fold growing on their long floppy ears. Is this normal? on the bottom inside the flap seems to be growing into another one or is this some sort of deformity?

my sister has a cockapoo bred from two cockapoo's, which is purer in breed if that makes any sense....?

My thoughts are that my dog coming from two pure bred dogs and 1st generation is purer...

I am a single Mom with 2 children, age 3 & 6. We have had dogs in the past, so we are familiar with owning a dog, etc.

We want to find a dog that is good with children, not agressive, doesn't shed much, preferrable in 10-30lbs range. The dog will not be alone more than 3-4 hours per day.

My mother-in-law adopted a pekingese for us and we were told he was 7 months back in march. He seems to be full grown in size but has every other characteristic of a puppy. Is there any way to figure out a closer age because our vet took our word on his age and hasn't check otherwise. We are just a little curious.
