Well she does look more dignified there! That first pic really cracks me up. It is so typically shepherd....the most beautiful dog breed in the world can also look like a big clown!! Do your kids roll their eyes around a lot? Mine do and it is so darn funny. Raina is the only one who doesn't hardly do it but Tasha, Skylar and Willow do and you think something isn't right. They will lay upside down usually and totally still and then the eyeballs are rolling around like someone knocked them loose!

By the way, took the girls in for the monthly weigh in.....and Tasha is still holding steady at 71 pounds......a good weight for her as she is big... Raina is down to 56 from a high of 64~~ Skylar is now a solid 63 pure muscle and Willow, the baby is checking in at 55!

My two aren't particularly eyeball roll-y-ish, but I know what you mean. :D

Hope they're all still doing okay, sound like the weigh-in was all good. Got TL started on her glucosamine today, finally! It's about time. The vet said she has some muscle deterioration in her off hind leg, which I already suspected. It feels wrong and she doesn't put her weight on it very well, poor lass.

Frankie's moving along nicely. He had a big setback for a couple of weeks, because I pushed him too far and made him do too much for him to cope with. It's such a shame because he'd been doing so unbelivably well and I thought he was up to the challenge, but unfortunately he regressed really badly. But he's back on track again now. He can walk along the road and not bother about the cars anymore, unless they slow down or stop or are particularly loud.

Anyway, just thought I'd pop in and give you an update in case you're interested. :)

You know I am always interested!! Frankie is the biggest success story here! However, next time, please wash mouths before taking pictures!! Mud mouth!!! And that last picture.....if ever there was a smirk on a dog's face, that is it!! See you get these really funny expressions and because of my crummy picture taking skills, I get the tops of ears and blurs!!! :x

Hey guys, I just wanted to post an update on the kids.

Tara's glucosamine worked wonders, and she is doing really well.

Look, she can even jump a bit!

Frankie is his usual grumpy-with-everyone self, but he's an angel in the house, and as long as we keep a safe distance from people on walks he's generally a good boy. (although he's regressed again with traffic. But we're working on it. ;))

Image

They've also both lost some weight and are looking super trim and fit.

Frank hasn't broken any headcollars lately, which is nice. :p

I absolutely couldn't love the pair of them any more than I do

And they're both very happy

Hope all you guys here are well. Much love to you all. xx

Heather, they look wonderful and Frankie is such a success story!! We are so very proud of the work you did on him. You need to show up more as you can speak with authority on rehabbing difficult dogs. You know what is needed and can be the true voice of experience.... I just can't get over how at peace Frankie looks. Tara does look good too.... The glucosamine helps those joints and dropping a pound or two is a big help...

The girls here are loosing. Never thought Tasha would go below 70 but she is now 67 pounds and pretty frail.....Her backend is really going now....her body is failing her but her eyes are so bright and happy.... Raina is down to an unbelievable 54 pounds!!! She is a shining black runner now....Skylar I still can't keep weight on, not since the puppies. She also has not gotten a good undercoat back either...She is 62 and fat butt Willow is 66! She has a gorgeous coat on her........she is a rough coat and has a great undercoat....can hardly wait till we get some snow and hope we get enough to make it great playing!! She will be a blast in it!!!
