Volpino Italiano Dog Breed

Volpino Italiano Dog Breed

Italy

This small Italian Pomeranian looks like the most common of the Pomeranians but the ears are bigger and pointier and besides the snout is larger. Apparently, this breed has lived in Italy for several centuries. The hair is long and abundant and it has a thick sub-layer of hair. The color is always white or reddish without patches but champagne-colored dogs and small light orange tone patches on the ears are allowed.

The height at withers is 27 to 30 cm in males and 25 to 28 in females.
