re searching for different Oakland Dog Breeders and were interested in find one that was really good and knew his stuff. We had of course done a lot of research on how to find a good Oakland Dog Breeder previously and had asked a lot of different people about it such as different veterinarians and our local
kennel club and they gave us some numbers of some of the different Oakland Dog Breeders. We talked to two different ones but wanted to continue searching so we talked to a third one and we clicked very well with the last one. Jeff (our Oakland Dog Breeder) was not only willing to listen to all the different questions we had but also asked us a lot of different questions. It was almost like he was testing us to see if we would be appropriate owners for his baby (an English sheepdog). However the way he was asking us questions didn't make us feel annoyed; it just seemed like he was really trying to find the right people for his beloved dog. He gave us some background information about this breed and told us that they are very good family dogs that are obedient and docile. They also get along very well with children. Our Oakland Dog Breeder told us that English sheepdogs love being out in the fresh air and like open spaces. He asked us if we had a big yard (which we do) and asked us if we enjoyed going out to do exercise such as walking and hiking (which we also do). He told us that when English sheepdogs do not get enough exercise they could become restless and sensitive. We were very happy to have found a good Oakland Dog Breeder and are enjoying our dog everyday because of it.
