However, he told us that these types of problems could be solved with extra training. Beagles are by nature hunting dogs and they revel in running freely and playing and tracking down scents. But beagles can also do well living at home as long as they are given plenty of regular open air exercise and going on walks. Beagles are also water lovers. One thing we were very happy to find out about also was that beagles are very clean dogs and they don't require any specialized grooming. Our Miami Dog Breeder told us that as far as veterinarian visits is concerned we would have to take him to get general check ups but that since normally these dogs are so healthy we wouldn't have to go as often as other breeds are required to go.
