Kromfohrl
Germany
This breed, still scarce in a number of specimens, is really a pure breed, and it was not acknowledged in its native country, Germany, until twenty years ago. It is said that even today it is used as a hunting Terrier in some parts of Europe. The Kromfohrländer originates from breeding between rough-coated Fox Terriers and a Britanny Griffon breed.
The Kromfohrländer skull is even, in form of a cot, with a little stop and a strong snout and very wide. It has deep ears at an upper level in form of a V; it has a straight and wide loin, and a deep chest. The tail, also at an upper level, is curved towards the left part of the back. It has a short and rough coat.
The coat is white, with brown-colored spots. Its height at withers is 38-46 cm.
