An adequate diet of the female in the last stage of pregnancy and, consequently, during the following two or three months, results in a lot of milk for the nursing puppies. A good trick is to offer her, besides water, specifically formulated milk for puppies (with an important amount of grease and proteins) prepared according to instructions of the manufacturer and it has been demonstrated at the intake of this milk greatly increases the quality of the puppies' diet.
