“Tricolor” French Hound Dog Breed

"Tricolor" French Hound Dog Breed
Chien Français Tricolore

France

The "Tricolor" French hound comes from the same environment as the "black and white" variety: a combination of ancient French hounds with blood imported from England.

In general, the same standard is applied to both breeds, but the "tricolor" has chestnut eyes instead of dark-brown eyes and naturally it has another color (a combination of black, white and cinnamon).

The height at withers might be approximately a couple of centimeters lower to the variety of "black and white": about 62 to 70 centimeters in males and 60 to 68 in females.
