Bird Bite Cat Dog Mosquito Pet Snake
In the United States alone there lots of people every year that suffer from dog bites, bird, cat pet, snake, mosquito bites etc. However the mammal that inflicts the most amount of bites on humans are dogs. Most dog bites are not serious though. Studies have shown that most dog bites are from other pets or other dogs that the victim knows. Children are the ones that get attacked most often and are at greater risk unfortunately. Each year there are cases of children that have been killed by dogs. Cat bites are less common then dog bites and the tissue damage that a cat causes is far less then that of a dog but they do carry a high infection rate. Mosquito bites are included in a long list of arthropods and the list of arthropods that bite humans is huge but depending on the insect, determines the treatment and what needs to be done. in the case of Pet Snakes, it is not all that common but since there are around 20 species in the United States each year many people fall victim to venomous snakebites, however most of them live through it. There are two types of venomous snakes in the U.S.A, which include Crotalidae and Elapidae. Crotalidae snakes have a heat sensing pit in between each eye and nostril and they are responsible for ninety nine percent of the venomous snakebites that occur to Americans. Elapidae family has two kinds of coral snakes and these snakes are known to be shy and come out at nighttime and hardly ever bite humans. Whatever the case, if you have been Bit by a Bird, Cat, Mosquito, Pet, or Snake, make sure you get the necessary medical attention you need to prevent infection or something more serious from occurring. |
